Just Peaceful - Watercolor by Cherish Flieder, Something to Cherish

Just Peaceful – 7th Annual ArtBash!

One of my favorite art non-profits, Philip J. Steele Arts Education Foundation, will be hosting an ArtBash silent art auction this Friday to raise money for art scholarships.

I have been busy in my studio creating new watercolor-inspired techniques with my Sakura Koi watercolor markers and paints. I made this piece of art, especially for the Steele Foundation’s fundraiser. It is called “Just Peaceful” and all the proceeds go to helping talented and deserving art students who need assistance in paying for school. I have been blessed to know a few of them personally that happen to be in my illustration classes at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. The winning students tend to be top-notch artists with great attitudes, caring for others, and creating art that is meaningful. We need more of that in the world!
