DIY Felt Thank You Journal

A giftable felt journal that is so easy to make.

All you need is a sheet of felt, some printer paper, a needle and thread, and embellishments of your choosing.

I started with folding the printer paper in half. Since I am using a cream card-stock paper, I scored each one first with my bone folder to the pages wouldn’t crack. Next, I folded the felt around the paper, making sure everything was centered. Using a needle and thread I stitched along the spine and then back again to reinforce it. Once finished, I trimmed the edges of the paper so they will line up nicely on the face of the book.

Now that the journal is made, you can decorate your cover any way you like. In my example, I am using a Thanksgiving-themed palette of creams and olive green and textures from a decorative button, lace, and burlap.
