Aloha Mixed Media Canvas

Ahhh…Hawaii. Just the place where I want to relax and let all of my stress melt away. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to go anytime soon, but I can bask in the aloha rays and waves with a little imagination and artistic creation.

 

For today’s Blog Hop, I bring you a lovely vacation themed mixed media painting. My canvas collage reminds me of a beautiful beach somewhere off the shore of Kauai, and is a pleasant reminder to visit again someday.

There is a little of everything in this art piece … watercolor, acrylic, stencils, natural fiber papers, sea shells, embroidery floss, buttons, pins, my sea turtle ribbon, canvas, watercolor paper and more.
