Cherish’s New Handbag Collection Debuting at Mother’s Day Fashion Trunk Show – Scout & Molly’s

This Mother’s Day we celebrate all the Moms that helped us get through this tough year (human moms, plant, moms, fur-baby moms all included). The dedication of all the caring women in our lives has been an unparalleled pillar of strength to our families and communities. Let’s gather for a day of appreciation!

I’m thrilled to announce a fabulous collaboration between 3 sustainably-minded, Colorado fashion designers, myself Cherish Flieder lifestyle designer of Something to Cherish®, classic women’s apparel DL designer of Hidden Pearls, and Elizabeth DiGiorgio – hat designer of Ella James Hattery!

For this special event, hosted by Denver’s fine women’s boutique Scout+ Molly’s, I am releasing an exclusive and new Something to Cherish® handbag collection! Each piece carries a message of strength and inspiration. Each painting is infused with love and passion. Each bag is handcrafted by a skilled artisan who has helped me bring this vision to life to honor the woman who will carry it through life.

DL, Donna Pettigrew – “How our brand got started, “Hidden PEARLS”, was born out of a deep conviction to produce ageless, timeless, sophisticated clothing. Most women don’t know their worth in society and we want to dress every woman like a QUEEN! All QUEENS wear PEARLS and we want every woman to feel and look like a QUEEN when she walks out on her runway in life!DL the senior designer for Hidden PEARLS attended F.S.U. Fashion College earning her two B.S. degrees. Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising. She gets most of her inspiration from nature since she out hiking on most days with her pure breed Siberian Husky Myah.” See more from DL on Instagram

Elizabeth DiGiorgio – “I am a hat designer, hair/makeup stylist, and single mother to my 5-year-old daughter, Ella James (who I named my hat biz after) so you can say I wear many hats. I love everything I do and they all work very well together. This past year pushed me in so many ways but helped me realize my most important job is being a mother. On the days Ella is with her dad, I work very hard. I enjoy making custom pieces and nothing feels better than exceeding my customer’s expectations! I cannot wait to make all your hat dreams come true!”
