Batik Easter Eggs
To celebrate this season of new life I decided to create a fun little “Crayon Batik Easter Eggs” decorating project. Using the Waxmelter Batik Pen from the folks over at Rainowitz Design Workshop I created a very textural set of edible Easter eggs using a minimal amount of hot wax and colored crayons. It was fun to literally paint with the wax on each egg and then used the clear wax to protect each layer as they were set in the dye for a progressive sequence of color.
